Rough patch for Marshall Motor

-

Marshall Motor has seen first-half profit and revenue fall on the back of a “challenging” new car market in the UK.

The group yesterday posted a 7.1 per cent decline in pre-tax profit to £17.2 million for the six months to the end of June, while revenue slipped 2.1 per cent to £1.16 billion. Marshall said like-for-like newcar sales fell 9.3 per cent in the period.
