Vital role for Morelos

Solid is the name of the game this week. That’s what Rangers were in the victory over St Mirren. However, it was good to see that Steven Gerrard could make a few changes and we could still win the game within half an hour.

While I had a go at Kevin Clancy last week for his display, it is only fair that I admit the referee got the Ross Mccrorie sending off 100 per cent correct. Furthermore, everything that’s coming out of Ibrox is positive, and one favourite of mine has been the performances of Alfredo Morelos. Yet again he bullied the defenders and bagged the opening goal. He will be important as we look to finish the job against Maribor, which I am pretty confident that we can do and progress to the Europa League play-off round.
