Mandzukic calls time on cap career

Croatia striker Mario Mandzukic has retired from international football.

After starring in his country’s run to the World Cup final, he ends his international career as Croatia’s second-highest goalscorer.

“World Cup silver has made this incredibly difficult decision a bit easier,” said the 32-year-old.
