New arrests over child grooming

-

Twenty-one people have now been arrested in connection with an investigation into child sexual exploitation in Bury, police said.

Yesterday, further arrests were made as part of the multi-agency probe launched in June 2017 following reports youngsters were being groomed in two local parks.

Two men, aged 21 and 24, are being questioned on suspicion of child sexual exploitation.

Increased patrols continue to operate around both Clarence and Openshaw Park, police said.
