Bowing out: Koreans mark end of war

North Korean soldiers salute as others bow before the giant bronze statues of late leaders Kim Il Sung and his son Kim Jong Il during the anniversar­y of the end of the Second World War and liberation from Japanese rule in Pyongyang. North Korea has marked the event with ceremonies ahead of the 70th anniversar­y of its national foundation day.
