Ayr United Great signing

On Saturday it was a long trip up to Inverness for a league match for Ayr United. After going down to ten men and Caley Thistle missing a penalty, it was a good, well-fought point for the Honest Men and it was great to see so many Ayr fans backing the team from start to finish.

On Tuesday, manager Ian Mccall made a new signing, adding Liam Smith to his squad. This is a great signing as Liam was in the Championship-winning side at St Mirren last season.

He went straight into the squad the same evening for our defeat by Queen’s Park in the Irn Bru Cup.

On Saturday we head to Dens Park to face Dundee in the Betfred Cup.
