Falkirk Disjointed Bairns

- Stephen Crombie

It is maybe too early in the season but it does feel like an apt time to use the good old cliche, “it’s a marathon and not a sprint”. Thankfully this is the case, as after only two league games it has the feeling of deja vu from last year’s dismal season.

Football is a fickle game and in a results-based business the demand for instant success is paramount among supporters. Off the park Paul Hartley has been saying all the right things, with the board backing him with the influx of so many new players. It’s on the park the Falkirk fans want to see come to fruition. Anyone who witnessed Patrick Thistle away could see how disjointed the team are. This may take some time to sort out, but it will come good. It has to!
