What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?

Do shoes count? If so it was a pair of black suede high heels.

On the clothes front, it was a black pleated jumpsuit from L&B, my favourite clothes shop on the Rue Meynadier in Cannes, when I was there for the film festival in May.

What are you addicted to buying?

See above… anything classy and involving black.

Best ever bargain?

My favourite Bloody Scotland dress which is a tartan and modern abstract mix. I wear it at the festival every year and I’ve lost count of the number of people from around the world who’ve asked me where I bought it.

Who has great style?

I love clothes by Tottie Rocks. I have a fab suit made by them, tartan skirt and fitted black jacket. Very cool. Tottie Rocks is also a favourite with our First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, and I like her style. It’s great.

Name your favourite high street shop.

Well, I bought my Bloody Scotland dress from River Island.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?

Plenty. Anything with frills and flounces. At five feet eleven, wearing frills makes me look like a Christmas cracker (and not in a good way).

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

I think you’ve probably guessed by now. n
