Open plan office a healthier way to go

-

Office managers should remove partitions between workers’ desks to improve employee health, a study suggests.

Having partitions, working in cubicles or in private offices may have implications on workers’ stress levels, the research found.

Employees in more open plan workplaces are also more likely to be involved in physical activity. The study published in the journal Occupational and Environmental Medicine found open plan offices may be a healthier option.
