Thieves target town’s firms in break-in spate

Three addresses have been targeted in spare of breakins in East Lothian.

The incidents in Dunbar all occurred between 5pm on Friday and 8am on Saturday in the Spott Road area.

A three-figure sum of cash was stolen from one property, with nothing appearing to have been stolen from the other.

Officers believe an attempted break-in at a third store in Spott Road is linked to these offences.

Police inquiries are ongoing to find those responsible.
