Breaking with tradition: Ayrshire castle unveils custom-made eco-homes

A historic Ayrshire castle is fusing old and new by welcoming eco-houses on its estate. Up to 66 custom-built homes will be sited on the grounds of 13th-century Rowallan Castle, in partnership with builder Cherish Homes. Five plots are reserved and it is expected the next phase of 20 plots will be sold by September.

George Campbell, of Rowallan Castle Estate, said: “For the first time, Rowallan Castle Estate will be home to people looking for a more sustainable way of life with this new development of eco-houses.”
