Ties picked for live TV

Two Betfred Cup quarterfinal ties have been picked for live television coverage.

BT Sport will show the match between Hibernian and Aberdeen on Tuesday 25 September.

The broadcaster will then show the St Johnstone v Celtic last-eight tie the following night.

The other two quarterfinal matches – Heart of Midlothian v Motherwell and Rangers v Ayr United – will also be played on Wednesday 26 September.

All four ties will kick off at 7.45pm.

Meanwhile, the Irn-bru Cup second round game between The New Saints and Queen’s Park will be shown live on the Welsh channel S4C on Saturday 8 September.
