Homophobic attack leaves three injured

Three men were injured and subjected to homophobic abuse in an “unprovoked” attack in Dundee.

Police said the trio had been approached by a group of four men at about 3am on Friday.

The incident occurred close to the Mcdonald’s on Reform Street.

All three of the victims sustained minor injuries.

Police have appealed for informatio­n about the group, who have been described as white and aged in their early 20s.

CCTV showed the group of four walking along the High Street to get a taxi at Union Street afterwards.
