Dundee
Day of shame
Dundee were diabolical on Saturday, and should hang their heads in shame at the listless manner in which they were deservedly thumped by a Championship side at home. No wonder crowds are so low with the insipid football on display. Slow, sideways, nervy passing, calamitous defending and zero penetration make us an opposition manager’s dream.
Ian Mccall famously never won a derby against us, but from the outset it was clear he’d send us packing this time. It was grimly poetic that one of our supposed targets, Lawrence Shankland, scored twice on the same day that Sofien Moussa picked up two criminal yellow cards in 15 minutes to surely end his Dens Park career. A real reaction is needed to quell the fans’ fury and save Neil Mccann’s job.
