Livingston

- Calum Brown

Harsh decision The Livingston board and Kenny Miller decided to part company, with the club feeling Miller couldn’t perform both player and manager roles. It’s clear he wasn’t going to hang up his boots, and when asked if he would only manage the club and not play, he refused.

I will back my club to the hilt, but I believe we’ve made a very harsh decision which has now left us without a manager and with three strikers at the club – one injured and one just turned 18. I was sceptical of the appointment in the first place as I don’t feel being both player and manager can work. It was a huge risk.

On Saturday we travel to St Mirren, in a mustwin game. If we are to stay up we must take points from these types of games.
