Past forgotten
It is sad that the 50th anniversary of the Soviet action on
20-21 August 1968 which ended the Prague Spring has been almost entirely ignored by the UK press and BBC.
After all, that action was the second invasion of Czechoslovakia in the 30 years since 1938 and the biggest military mobilisation in Europe since 1945, killing the hopes and dreams of two generations throughout the UK and continental Europe. The ignorance and
