#MANAFORT

US President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, was found guilty on eight of 18 charges. The guilty charges include felonies of tax evasion, bank fraud and failing to file a foreign bank account.

@Nimasema pointed out: “@ realdonaldtrump says it’s a good thing to get along with #Russia. That’s especially true if you’re planning to escape there.” @poppy337 tweeted: “Hey y’all, remember yesterday when two former #Trump aides became felons. Lol good times.” @Lia__nelson added: “You can’t call it a “Witch Hunt” when he was found guilty on EIGHT counts. That’s just justice.”

#SUPERDRUG

Hackers have claimed they have the personal details of 20,000 customers of Superdrug. The beauty retailer has advised customers change their passwords for their online website.

@haysparkle1 questioned: “Can anyone clear this up for me! Has Superdrug really been hacked?? I’ve not received any emails or anything from them so just wondering if I need to change any info???” @Jobrownhill79 queried: “Are companies doing enough to protect our personal data?? Yet another hacking… #NHS recently and now #superdrug.” @emilykatewalker said: “Maybe #Superdrug should be concentrating more on keeping customers data safe than promoting Botox to its young target consumers.”

#MEASLES

The World Health Organisation is calling for increased vaccination efforts after surging rates of measles infection in Europe.

@sarahwollaston posted: “Measles can be fatal or leave awful complications in its wake. One of the greatest triumphs of our age was preventing avoidable deaths through vaccination; how tragic to see this being driven backwards by antivacc drivel.”

@Stephenmcgann added: “Just because you don’t believe in facts doesn’t mean that facts won’t get you. #brexit #measles #climatechange.”

@thevitalspark01 advised: “My late father’s eyesight was severely compromised by a bout of measles as a child. There were no vaccines back then. Now there is. Just take wee Jimmy for the jab, eh?”
