Alloa Athletic Zanatta boost

Back to league business on Saturday following a free weekend, during which Alloa secured the loan signing of winger Dario Zanatta from Hearts. He was tricky and impressive against us in a similar loan spell at Raith last season – although I’m unsure where Jim Goodwin will deploy him in his Alloa team. Still, it’s a much needed extra option in an attacking position.

On Saturday, Alloa visit Inverness. It’s over 12 years since our last trip there. It’s also a ground where Alloa have never picked up a win in nine attempts. We’ll be long odds to take the three points, but there are a few murmurings of discontent there following their last game against Ayr. If we can stay in the game and frustrate the crowd there’s an opportunity to pick up a result.
