Falkirk

Rallying round Hagen

- Stephen Crombie

As it was the knockout stages of the League Cup at the weekend, Falkirk FC had the chance to reflect on the season so far with a free week. It’s certainly not been the start anyone was hoping for but, with so many new signings, this shouldn’t be such a surprise.

However, some things in life are bigger than football. It’s with sadness that we learn about exbairn David Hagen, who at the age of 45 was last month diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. David played more than 100 times for Falkirk over a five-year period between 1995 and 2000. There will be collections around the ground this Saturday at the Falkirk Stadium where we host Queen of the South. Our thoughts are with David and his family at this difficult time.
