Misfiring formation

No game for us last week due to us not progressing from the Betfred Cup groups. Hopefully the players and management have had a wee bit of time off to recharge the batteries and are raring to go again.

The visitors this week are Alloa, who are a bit of an unknown quantity being newly promoted. I’m hoping we can start to hit a bit of form and get some points in the bag as this league is looking like being cut-throat this season.

We don’t seem to have found our strongest formation yet either, up front or in defence. Robbo seems to prefer the 4-4-2 formation but it just doesn’t seem to work for me with the players we have. Is he right and I’m wrong? Time will tell I suppose.
