Moffat’s top-10 hit On Saturday it was Betfred Cup action as Ayr took on Dundee and the boys did well against a Premiership side, winning 3-0. Once again Lawrence Shankland was on the scoresheet with a double and the final goal came from Michael Moffat, which took him into the top ten goalscorers of all time for Ayr with 85 goals.

Once again the fans headed to Dundee in their numbers with 445 supporters making the journey and creating another good atmosphere. Up next in the Betfred Cup we take on Rangers at Ibrox. The way we are playing just now, we have nothing to lose and you never know what can happen. This Saturday we take on Dunfermline at Somerset Park and hopefully we can get another big crowd and three points. ’Mon Ayr!
