#NODEALBREXIT
Most people polled expect the UK to crash out of the EU without a deal with Brussels, as the UK Government unveiled guidance for UK companies and residents for a no-deal Brexit.
@Angryscotland added: “I see England is very upset about #Nodealbrexit. Imagine if your country didn’t vote for Brexit at all.”
@aaronjsgeary posted: “Having a second referendum may undermine democracy, but not having it definitely undermines the the UK as a whole.”
@Femi_sorry commented: “Dominic Raab: There are 7,000 civil servants working on Brexit. We’ve prepared funding for 9,000 more civil servants. And in the short term we’re going to employ another 1,300. See, Brexit does create jobs. Shame they’re not doctors, nurses, or teachers...”
@Revatar said: “Confused as to why we need to go ahead with this if it’s going to be a disaster. Don’t give me ‘will of the people’. It’s the will of the people to have betterfunded NHS, social services, education, public transport, and the Tories have ignored those pleas.”
@nickg1958 reported: “90% of farmers I know in my area voted to leave the EU, It now makes me so bloody angry to read a statement from farmers & the NFU that they are calling for free & frictionless trade between the EU & UK as a #Nodealbrexit will put livelihoods at risk, mmm the penny has dropped.”
#JEREMYCORBYN
Jeremy Corbyn suggested the creation of a British Digital Corporation to “deliver information and entertainment to rival Netflix and Amazon but also to harness data for the public good”.
@sweirz added: “I’m more interested in the tens of thousands of jobs that could be created under a Labour #Corbyn government if they developed a social classometer for use in the home or business.”
@Bcozreasons said: “Of all the issues Britain faces, this is your battleground? Focus on getting knives out of kids’ hands, getting teachers and nurses pay rises, getting infrastructure worthy of the name.”
@Jsinghf posted: “Netflix costs me half the price of the BBC viewing tax which I haven’t paid in eight years and Netflix has no news or adverts and I am still around £600 up by not paying the Ministry Of Truth £150 a year licence fee. Result.”
