Wood hails extension of agreement with Shell

- By EMMA NEWLANDS

Energy services group Wood has netted a threeyear extension to a framework agreement with Shell to keep delivering completions-management, certification software and support to its assets globally.

The Aberdeen-based firm said that as part of the tieup, originally awarded in 2014 and managed from the UK, it will provide its software Gotechnology, used by Shell’s major commissioning operations globally.

Dave Stewart, head of Wood’s Asset Solutions business in Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia, said the extension stresses “the expertise we have in structured development and support teams to successfully deliver completions management services”.
