Detectives appeal after man critical

Detectives are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted in Coatbridge.

Police say a 28-year-old man was involved in a disturbance within a property in Arnott Drive on Thursday morning. This spilled out onto the street, resulting in the man sustaining a serious injury. Emergency services took the victim to Monklands Hospital where medical staff describe his condition as critical. Officers have been carrying out door-todoor inquiries and are checking for any CCTV footage.
