Council to decide on School of Art blaze cordon
Glasgow City Council is considering whether to reduce the size of the cordon around the burnedout Glasgow School of Art.
The large cordon, which has been in place since the art school blaze on 15 June, could be reduced today, allowing some residents and businesses access to their premises for the first time in more than two months. The south side of Sauchiehall Street is expected to reopen along with nearby Dalhousie Street at the east end of the art school.
Biggars music shop was one of the businesses inside the safety cordon.
