More than 300 firefighters have battled forest fires raging across Brandenburg state, near Berlin, as hundreds have been evacuated from nearby villages. It is estimated that as many as 600 people have been forced to flee their homes, including those in Klausdorf, pictured, 30 miles south-west of Berlin.
