Sweet solution

We were surprised by the smell of this new foundation, which lands on counter tomorrow. It’s sweet, almost fruity, featuring extracts from an algae called red jania and Mary’s thistle oil. It’s easy to decant from the dropper – a couple of drops go a long way – and glides on smoothly, for longlasting medium coverage (in 22 shades), and that all important SPF 15.

Find your match

Are you vata, pitta or kapha? If you don’t know, you can always log onto Samaya’s website to discover your Ayurvedic dosha (or mind body type). Then get the product to match. We tried this gorgeous and gentle jojoba scented exfoliant, with ingredients including pomegranate enzymes, sodium hyaluronate, turmeric and saffron. Leave on for 20 minutes, or overnight, for silken skin.

Four-in-one

Fans of clicky pens (like the fashion page’s Karen from Finance) are going to love this new product from Benefit. Available in five shades, it features four soft pencils in one, with a shade to fill in sparse or patchy areas, a darker one to add depth, a light hue to define the edges of your facial furniture, and a highlighter for beneath your arches. For high-powered brow executives only.
