Electric Fields

This boutique festival in Dumfries and Galloway has a strong indie slant to its line-up and some big hitters on the bill this year, not least Friday headliner Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, above. Mancunian stalwarts James and 90s dance legends Leftfield are the other headline draws but the gems are further down the bill, including the urbane Baxter Dury, neurotic rock’n’roller Ezra Furman, breezy veteran janglers Teenage Fanclub and The Coral, dub reggae siren Hollie Cook, the soothing sounds of Tracyanne and Danny and the ferocious Young Fathers.
