Dog days are over: Animal charity releases music to calm stressed hounds

-

Glasgow singer Emiah serenades Bella the Pug at the launch of her “dog music” album Paws, Play, Relax at the Scottish SPCA centre in Glasgow. The Fame Academy coach has teamed up with the animal charity to create music to calm canines, based on scientific research at the University of Glasgow which found music can help dogs to relax when they are stressed and anxious. This leads to lower levels of stress hormones and better cardiovascular control.
