Losing our balance

Hibernian maintained their unbeaten start to the domestic season with a late equaliser against Aberdeen, which looked unlikely to arrive but was no less deserved for that. Aberdeen’s tactics mirrored those they employed in the corresponding fixture last season, shutting up shop after taking a first-half lead.they defended superbly but on this occasion their luck ran out.

The transfer window will close on Friday with Hibs continuing to pursue unnamed targets. Neil Lennon is obviously anxious to add to a squad which retains plenty of quality, despite the loss of our swashbuckling midfield, but perhaps lacks a little balance. If one or two players arrive it would be a welcome boost.
