Heavy lift: Aberdeen’s Rotech Subsea undertakes further work in Persian Gulf

-

Rotech Subsea, the Aberdeen-based subsea excavation contractor, has secured two major scopes of work in the Persian Gulf, Saudi Arabia, worth in excess of $1 million (£776,000). The first of the contracts saw the firm’s TRS1-LD tool mobilised within days and collected from Rotech’s fabrication yard by the client. Rotech has also clinched a pipeline “post-trenching and remedial” contract in Saudi Arabia with its TRS2 tool shipped alongside the TRS1-LD. This follow-on agreement is the latest in a series of major scopes awarded to the company in the region.
