Forrest flourishing

It was another three points for the Honest Men on Saturday as we won 4-1 against Dunfermline. Once again it was a great team performance and an excellent win. It was great to see young Alan Forrest scoring a double. He’s really upped his game this season and his fitness has improved. He can stand up against any player now and can hold the ball well and he shocked us all by scoring a header even though he is probably one of the smallest players on the park.

On Sunday it was the annual open day for the club. Although the weather resulted in the outside part having to be cancelled there were still plenty of fans there to meet the team. There was a real buzz about the place. Great time to be an Ayr fan!
