Dundee United United effort

In earlier musings on the state of Dundee United I viewed the team performances in conjunction with my view on the manager with “incomprehensible” and “unintelligible” two words used to describe both. I do, however, need to add “energetic” and “earnest” to that list as Saturday’s performance against Partick demonstrated both those traits in spades.

Whilst the quality on display was not of the highest order the shift put in by the two strikers Safranko and Curran gave the Thistle defence no peace and laid the foundation for the success. I am still struggling to discern a particular style of play, however there is no doubt many Arabs will settle for a winning style and long may it continue.
