Falkirk

Loss of identity

- Stephen Crombie

It’s fair to say it has been an eventful week for Falkirk and the fans. Losing is never a great feeling but to lose in the manner we did at home to Queen of the South was totally unacceptable.

The team looks disjointed, the fans are angry as our beloved team has lost its identity and the football on show has been truly awful. It’s hard to believe that ten months on from Paul Hartley’s appointment we would be worse off.

What is harder to believe is that the board have acted so quickly and on Monday ended Hartley’s terrible tenure. This next appointment is a huge one and one which the board must get right.

The new manager needs to get our identity back and get some unity between the fans and the team.
