Scots want ban on animal exports
The majority of Scots support a ban on live animal exports, new polling suggests.
A Panelbase survey carried out on behalf of the Scottish Greens found 55 per cent of people believe the practice should be outlawed.
One fifth of those who responded said it should be allowed, while the remainder said they did not know.
Earlier this year UK Environment Secretary Michael Gove launched a consultation on the future of animal welfare post-brexit, with all options being considered.
