Loose Women faces bullying claim
Television presenter Kim Woodburn’s appearance on Loose Women which resulted in her storming off the set of the ITV show has sparked more than 3,000 complaints.
The majority of the 3,297 complaints to broadcasting watchdog Ofcom are about the Loose Women panel’s treatment of the presenter. An Ofcom spokeswoman said: “We are assessing these complaints against our broadcasting rules, before deciding whether or not to investigate.”
Woodburn, 76, appeared on the show to face Coleen Nolan, 53, after the pair fell out during Celebrity Big Brother in 2017.
But viewers accused the show’s panellists, including Nolan, of “ganging up” on the former How Clean Is Your House? presenter.
Woodburn has accused Nolan and other housemates, of bullying her in the Celebrity Big Brother house, while Nolan said Woodburn was constantly argumentative.
During her appearance on Loose Women, Woodburn raised her voice and shouted at Nolan and the other panellists before storming off.
Woodburn also accused panellist Linda Robson of being “phoney”.
