The Brexit bop

-

The British Government’s desperation over Brexit is becoming ever more evident, perhaps best highlighted by Theresa May’s “excruciating” African dance routine, said Kenny Macaskill.

They still haven’t agreed to a backstop solution to the Irish border issue so how can it be anything other than a No Deal exit? This is NOT what we voted for. Let’s conclude this phase and put the FACTS to the people to decide whether or not we should leave the EU.

Pax Vobiscum

As the prospect of a no-deal Brexit looms closer, it is interesting to notice that the EU is getting a little nervous. Macron has softened his hardline stance and Barnier has now said that he will offer the UK a bespoke trade deal. The EU blinked first.

Euan Gray

More scaremongering from Macaskill. Maybe he’s trying to re-establish himself as a leadership contender, now that Salmond has resigned from the party... nae chance!

Lavrenti Zapadni She’s not the only one dancing. Nicola has just seen her only competition for the SNP leadership disappear off the political scene (but maybe not forever – new party, anyone?). Cue faux sympathy.

Tested

Do you think you might be a wee bit wrong there Kenny? Scotland can see the negotiations creeping closer together, and the EU are now talking of a bespoke settlement for the UK.

Old Clothes and Porridge

The SNP would have taken Scotland out of the EU & the UK. Brexit gives them 50% of what they wanted. Why the moans?

Freewheel It’s always going to be a “bespoke” arrangement between the UK and the EU,
