Losses narrow at tool hire supplier

-

HSS Hire saw losses narrow in the first half of the year, helped by revenue growth and a cost reduction programme.

The equipment supplier said pre-tax losses for the period fell to £7.1 million from the £30.1m reported a year earlier, as revenue rose 5.8 per cent to £169.8m. The sales rise was driven by improved trading across the rental and services segments.
