No surrender

Joyce Mcmillan (Perspective, 31 August) tells us the UK Government “has surrendered to the extreme Brexit right”.

Where does she get her information – the Government’s plan, the Chequers Plan, has the Brexit right in uproar, with accusations of sellout and betrayal. The Government’s plan is the softest of Brexits!
