Tie the knot: Muddy couple get hitched as they cross finish line of extreme obstacle course

Marlene Harper and Les Simpson, from Wick, stunned competitors on Saturday when they got married on the finish line of the Prime Four Beast Race at Loch Ness.

The muddy couple had just completed the 10km race which featured 30 obstacles.

Eighty of their friends were at the ceremony along with thousands of other participants. The pair completed the race in three hours.
