Knife attacker is jailed for four years

A man who left his victim covered in blood after a knife attack has been jailed.

Aron Baillie, 27, was sentenced to four years and eight months in prison for repeatedly stabbing Richard Craft at a property in Falkirk, on 1 April. Baillie, of Falkirk, called an ambulance as his victim lay injured, telling paramedics: “He is upstairs. I did it. I want my lawyer – I called him already.” He pleaded guilty to assaulting Mr Craft to his severe injury, permanent disfigurement and impairment and to the danger of his life.
