Coleraine mananger Kearney ‘ready’ for St Mirren

-

Coleraine manager Oran Kearney is ideally equipped to take over at St Mirren, says his father in law Kenny Shiels.

Kearney has held talks with the Paisley club who are looking to appoint a successor to Alan Stubbs, who was sacked after only four league matches in charge.

Shiels, the former manager of Kilmarnock, told BBC Scotland: “He’s very ready and, if he takes it, Coleraine will be the losers here. St Mirren will have a good guy, a really good manager. Someone who is straight and doesn’t suffer fools. He’s very streetwise, sincere and honest.”
