Play, Pie and Pint: Outside In
If it’s Autumn, it must be another Play, Pie and Pint lunchtime theatre season; and the latest six-show series shared between Oran Mor and the Traverse opens with Chris Grady’s Outside In, an inspired farce about crime and agoraphobia in 21st century Glasgow, followed by James Runcie’s new comedy Tap Dancing With Jean-paul Sartre, which imagines a 1950s moment when Jeanpaul Sartre, Fred Astaire and Audrey Hepburn meet in Paris to discuss tap dancing, existentialism, and the meaning of life.
Outside In, Oran Mor, Glasgow, today and Traverse, Edinburgh, 11-15 September. Tap Dancing with Jean-paul Sartre, Oran Mor 10-15 September; Traverse, 18-22 September and Lemon Tree, Aberdeen, 24-29 September. Tel: 0141-357 6200 / 0131228 1404 / 01224 641122
