The Princess Royal, President, UK Fashion and Textile Association, this morning visited Mourne Textiles, 86 Killowen Old Road, Rostrevor, Newry, and was received by Mrs. Fionnuala Cook (Vice Lord-lieutenant of County Down). Her Royal Highness, President, Royal Yachting Association, afterwards visited Portaferry Sailing Club, 38-40 Shore Road, Portaferry, to mark its Fiftieth Anniversary, and opened Portaferry Recreation Hub, and was received by Mrs. Amanda Brownlow (Deputy Lieutenant of County Down).
