Mystery man’s 400-mile round trip for ice cream

A mystery customer made a 400-mile round trip to stock up on 42 litres of his favourite ice cream.

He told staff at Bicocchis in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, he’d driven straight to the store from Glasgow last Wednesday. The man bought 42 one-litre tubs of their original flavour ice cream, made on the premises.

He told a member of staff that the only reason for his trip was to buy some of their produce.
