Those individual matelots who act like this, whatever their nationalit­y, are not representa­tive of the whole crew of a ship which could be in the hundreds or thousands. The majority do not act like this drunken minority but their ship, and all who sail in it, are tarred by the same brush as the drunken yobs. The navy can do without them and just because they might be called upon to defend us is no excuse for their behaviour.
