New ‘Deep Throat’

Donald trump’ s frantic search for the high-level “traitor’’ in his administration reminds me of the hunt in Richard Nixon’s day for the famed “Deep Throat,’’ the mole who broke the Watergate story through two journalists.

This highly-placed FBI source admitted many years later that he was questioned by investigators searching for the source of the leaks several times and simply lied.

So whoever wrote the anonymous New York Times article can rest assured. In any case, the article merely reinforces the First Amendment of the US Constitution – the right of free speech.
