Pilots vote to strike over pay
Pilots in Flybmi have voted in favour of industrial action in a dispute over pay.
The British Airline Pilots Association said the airline had failed to put forward a pay offer. General secretary Brian Strutton said: “Pilots in Flybmi have gone eight straight years without a pay rise and we are not prepared to accept that situation continuing any longer. These results should be a wake-up call to the company to get back to serious negotiations in order to resolve this dispute and avoid strike action.”
