-

A bystander was stabbed in the leg after a fight broke out between two groups at the end of a night out.

Four men and two women were outside a takeaway shop in Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, at about 1:15am on Sunday when they were approached by a group of seven men.

A large fight then broke out, with several people assaulted, but the incident was not reported to officers. A short time later, a 39-year-old man who was outside the takeaway when the disturbance broke out and had no connection to either group found he had been stabbed in the leg.
