Jardine and Gormley have double vision

Iain Jardine and his stable apprentice Jamie Gormley team up with top-weights in both feature races at Hamilton Park tonight, writes Gordon Brown.

The Carrutherstown pair are represented by I Believe In You in the £20,000 BB Foodservice 2-Y-O Series Final and Yes You in the £20,000 EBF Stallions Flower Of Scotland Fillies’ Handicap.

Jardine said: “I Believe In You ran in a Listed race at York last month so this is a drop in class for him. He’s a lovely juvenile and won twice in great style on his two previous visits to Hamilton.

“Yes You is a legend and a really gutsy little filly – she doesn’t know how to run a bad race.”

I Believe In You faces nine rivals including Kevin Ryan-trained Princes Des Sables, who has also won twice at the Lanarkshire venue this season, and last month’s Nottingham winner Mark’s Choice trained by Ruth Carr.
